Camila González is a postdoctoral scholar at the AI Development and Evaluation lab at Stanford University. There, she develops continual learning and monitoring methods for clinical settings with ongoing data collection. Her work has received multiple distinctions, including the MICCAI Young Scientist award, the Francois Erbsmann award, the Bildverarbeitung für die Medizin (BVM) award and the Freunde der TU Darmstadt award for Outstanding Scientific Achievements. She has been featured in outlets such as Computer Vision News and the AI-Ready Healthcare podcast. Outside her research, she presided over the MICCAI Student Board for two years and is a board member for the ContinualAI research society. She has organized multiple events on continual learning for medical imaging, including the 1st MICCAI tutorial on Dynamic AI in the Clinical Open World (DAICOW) in 2023 and Data-Centric Dynamic Learning (DCDL) in 2024.
